Your video was created as part of an order placed with us, and as outlined in our terms, clients agree to allow us to post videos we produce on platforms like YouTube as work samples. We make it clear that if a client wants the video removed from our portfolio, they can request removal and we will do so promptly. Clients also agree that they are not purchasing full copyright ownership of the video—only the production and a limited-use license. The license allows you to use the video across digital platforms like YouTube, social media, your website, Amazon, and more. We retain copyright ownership unless a buyout is purchased. If you believe your copyright has been infringed, you're welcome to submit a DMCA notice. We will promptly review and respond to any valid requests in compliance with statutory requirements.
If you received a copyright claim due to the music we used, don’t worry, it can be resolved easily. We license all the music we include in our videos. However, because YouTube’s system often flags licensed music if used by multiple users, we recommend disputing the claim. Just select "License" as the reason, check the permission box, and paste the license certificate we’ve provided into the notes. You can also explain that Envy Creative produced the video and holds the rights to the music, and that you were the client it was produced for.
If your copyright concern is related to Envy Creative uploading the video, just appeal the notification and clarify that Envy Creative holds the right to showcase it as the production company.
