The extended-usage license allows you to air the video on mass-mediums like TV, film, or radio for a set period. It’s priced based on the number of principal actors and airing duration, typically $100–$200 per actor per month, or a flat $1000 per actor per 1 year. This covers all royalties for that timeframe, includes a document for airing rights, and requires renewal after the period.
If you need the raw footage and project files, or you're planning a long-term and high-frequency mass-medium broadcast, a buyout gives you unlimited rights to air the video forever, for a one-time fee, typically around $5000 per actor, though this can vary. This also gives you access to raw footage and project files, which aren’t included with the extended-usage license.
